The short version: we collect as little as we can. You can play without an account. We don't sell your name, email or account data. We show ads, and our advertising partners may use cookies to show and measure them.
1. Who we are
Friendship Enders (friendshipenders.com) is run by Dudney Ventures LLC ("we", "us"). Contact us at [email protected].
2. What we collect
- When you sign in with Google or Discord: your name (on Discord, your display name or username) and verified email address from that account, and the ID Google or Discord gives us for it. We use them to run your account, keep your coins, diamonds and items, and answer you about purchases and support. If you sign in with Google and Discord using the same email address, they share one account. We also keep when you last ticked the box confirming you’re 13 or older and agreeing to our terms.
- Newsletter: if you tick the newsletter box when you sign up, or turn it on on your account page, we keep that choice and when you made it, and may email you our newsletter about new games and updates at your account’s email address. It is off unless you turn it on. Turn it off any time on your account page.
- When you finish an UnforgivaBALLS match signed in: a record of that match's result for your account (whether you won, how many coins you picked up and the coins it earned), so each match is counted once.
- When you buy something: a record of what you bought, when, and your diamond and coin balances. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers.
- When you play: our game servers handle connection data such as your IP address, the player and game names you type, and what happens in the game. We use this to run the games and to prevent cheating and abuse, and we keep it only as long as we need it for that.
- Voice chat: in a private UnforgivaBALLS game you can turn on voice chat to talk with the other player. It is off until you turn it on, and your browser asks before it uses your microphone. Your voice goes directly from your device to the other player's device; it does not pass through our servers, and we never record, listen to or store it. To connect the call, our game server passes a few technical set-up messages between the two devices, and your browser asks a connection service run by Cloudflare or Google for your public address. As with any direct connection, the other player's device, and that connection service, can see your IP address. We count how often voice chat is turned on and whether calls connect, as daily totals not linked to you.
- Highlights: UnforgivaBALLS highlights are made from the match on your own device and kept in your browser's storage; clips more than a day old are deleted the next time you finish a game. A video you save goes to your device; we never receive it. If you watch highlights together, our game server passes only short messages that say which moments to play and when.
- Site analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and doesn't follow you around the web. It tells us things like how many people visited a page and how fast it loaded.
- Usage counts: we count things like how many games were played on each level, which buttons were clicked and how many people visited the store, as daily totals. No cookie is used, and the counts aren't linked to you, your device or your account.
- Error reports: when something breaks in a game or on a page, your browser sends us the error message, the page and where in our code it happened, and your browser and system type (for example "Chrome 141 / Windows"). No IP address or account is stored with it. We use reports only to fix problems and delete them after 30 days.
- On your device: the games remember things like your player name, sound settings and, until you sign in, the results of matches you played signed out (so their coins can be kept) in your browser's storage. That stays on your device. If you sign in, a cookie keeps you signed in; we don't use it for advertising.
3. Who we share it with
We share data only with the companies that help us run Friendship Enders, and only what they need: Google and Discord (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and analytics), Cloudflare and Google (setting up voice chat calls), our game-server host and our advertising partners (ads, see below). We may also share data if the law requires it or to protect players from fraud or abuse.
We do not sell your name, email or account data. Advertising partners may collect information through cookies on our pages, as described under Ads.
4. Ads
Friendship Enders shows ads from advertising partners, for example between games. To show ads, limit how often you see the same one and measure how they perform, these partners may use cookies and similar technologies and receive information such as your IP address, your browser and device type, and the page you are on. Depending on where you live and the choices you make, ads may be based on your interests. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first. You can limit interest-based ads in your browser or device settings, and opt out of them from many companies at optout.aboutads.info.
We also show our own promo cards for our games and diamond packs.
5. Seeing or deleting your data
To get a copy of your account data or to have your account deleted, email [email protected] from the email address on your account. Deleting your account removes your coins, diamonds and items. We may keep purchase records where tax, accounting or fraud-prevention rules require it.
6. Children
Friendship Enders is not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
7. Security and where data is kept
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure. We and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top.
